Our Vision

At St James we believe that a clear vision is vital for our health and growth as a church, and we have seen God guide and bless our vision over recent years.

As a church our mission is:

“to make committed followers of Jesus”

Flowing from this mission is our vision, our values and our strategy. You can read about these in our vision booklet.

Vision Focus for 2024

Each year we renew our vision focus to help move forward in our mission to to make committed followers of Jesus.

On 28th January at our Sunday services Josh shared with the church details of our Growing Together vision focus for 2024. We believe that God wants us to be a Church who is Growing Together. Our key verse for this year is:

“From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” (Ephesians 4:16)

Commitment Sunday

Sunday 11th February - on commitment Sunday we commit ourselves to God in the vision focus he has given us for 2022. We will be committing to him our time, talents and treasure. You can download a commitment card here if you want to commit to being part of this vision.
